Description
Thunbergia Laurifolia
The climbing plant Thunbergia Laurifolia is mainly native to Thailand and has been valued there for centuries by the Thais as a medicinal plant. Like Pueraria Mirifica, it belongs to the acanthus family. A close relative, Thunbergia grandifolia, is, as the name suggests, particularly valued as an ornamental plant due to its beautiful large flowers. The dried leaves and flowers of Thunbergia laurifolia are used in traditional Thai medicine.
